What can being 3 lbs overweight do to a dog that weighs 17lbs rather than 14?

Just wondering. The dog is young now, but what will that do to the dog if it remains 3 lbs overweight.kikismom.. I don't know how the 1/2 cup of peas will help. That would give my dog a vitamin deficiency to replace that much meat with veggies.kikismom.. you said green beans not peas... but that would be bad

thats a pretty big percentage on a dog, its not that bad but just walk him some more and feed him less and he will be healthy and happy

Just get your dog special diet doggy food.Take him on more walks.He'll lose it quick.

For a 150lb person that would be an extra 30lbs. The easiest way to help her lose weight is to cut back on her food and add canned green beans to her diet.
