Where do you buy a band to dock a dogs tail?

**We are NOT going to dock the dogs tail ourselves.

Tails should be docked by cutting at about 3 days old. Cutting is quicker than banding and done early enough the dogs aren't in pain from it. Anything after 5 days is a "amputation", not a "dock". Have your vet dock the tails at 3 days old..

Banding causes more pain in the long run than just cutting them off. Also, the tails should be done at around 3 days old.

glad to hear. you are not home docking, but you should ask your vet, most of them do the cutting because it is better for many reasons

You don't banding is the worst possible way to dock a tail. Clamp and cut is much less painful because it's quicker. How old is this dog? anything over 3 days is too late and will have to wait till they are old enough to go under anesthesia because its major surgery then.
