It all depends on bloodline, exercise, and nutrition. If you feed your pit bull puppy a supreme nutrition puppy food brand like Nutromax Puppy Large Breed or Puppy Ultra, then your pit bull puppy should be anywhere between 35-50lbs. Walking your pit bull or exercising your pit bull for 45-60 minutes is sufficient for muscle growth. Pit bulls are carry a lot of muscle definition which is where most of there weight comes from. So walk your dog feed him well and watch him grow.Bloodline is also important because your dog may come from a small stock or large stock. If your pit bull is on the smaller side of the size spectrum he may end up weighing anywhere between 45-65lbs. If he is on the larger side possibly 75-95 maybe 100lbs. Once again it all depends on the bloodline. Also find out how many puppies were born in the litter with your puppy if possible. In my personal experience, I have found that smaller litters produce large dogs. Also see how big the parents are. My pit buls fatgher was about 125-130lbs and his mother 95lbs. He weighs 110lbs. which is fairly proportionate for him. My dogs offspring maxed out at 115lbs. @ 2yrs old and they averaged about 10 lbs a month as puppies until they turned about 7-8 months; then growth began to slow down a bit but still continued. So if the gene is big, your dog will be big.My pit bull is the exception. He weighs 110lbs at 4years old is lean and healthy with a 24 inch head at 24 inches at the shoulders. He is a XXL pit bull or King Pit Bull and is UKC registered and APBTR registered. At 4 months he weighed about 40lbs and @ 5 months 50lbs. Normally healthy pit bull puppies put on about 6-10 lbs a month depending on the variables that I had mentioned earlier.
