how do i know if my dog is crying and what does it sound like?

he doesnt have tear stains sometimes his left eye waters. i only ever hear him whining. could this be crying? could anybody give me a link to a dog crying so i know what it soudns like?thanks

Some breeds of dog's just have tears but the whining is crying.. My dogs are all cry babies...

Yeah, That's a dog's way of saying give me something or treat me better with my dogs it tends to be throw down some roast beef!

dogs may tear, and they whine a lot, if their crying.to confirm, try and play with it, but if it refuses, ignores you, or walks away, TIME YOU COMFORTED IT!approach it gently(dogs have feelings!),make it lay on your lap, and stroke it(massage it),and TRY to leave it alone:)

i dont have a link to a dog crying sound, but ive lived around dogs sence i was a little baby. and let me tell u, if a dog whines, it means the dog is crying, is about to cry, or is just ending crying. and when i see dogs cry, they dont have tears streaming down their faces like humans, instead is kind of a glossy look on the eyes or little tear signs or stains. the whine is usually like a repeated aruf-ruf-ruf sound that is high pitched.

my dogs bark,whine, and yelp when some1 steps on their little paws i feel so bad when they yelp cuz i know right away sum1 stepped on my dogs paws lol
