    • Say like you will walk it and like say my friends have got one and i love it just dont get a border collie i got one and its mental very very mentalgood luckXD

    • Show her you will be responsible. Do your chores w/o her asking, do extra around the house, whenever you see she needs help with something just jump up and do it. Actions speak louder than words. If you really want a dog prove it to her this way.

    • If she wanted a dog you wouldn't have to convince her. That you have to "convince" her means she doesn't want a dog. Since she is the one paying the bills (and will likely end up the primary care giver) then she should get a dog only if she wants a dog no convincing required

    • Show her you are responsible in ALL aspects of life: school, chores, showing respect. If she knows you are adult enough to act like that as a whole, she may respect you and and your opinions/comments more.Another thing, unless you are paying for the vet bills, food and cost of the dog it is ultimately her decision. If you whine about it she may lose some respect for you. If you take it like an adult she may always reconsider.

    • I agree with everybody else, show her that you can be responsible. But remember that a dog is a lot of responsibility, I know you've probably heard this a billion times but its very true. A dog cost a lot of money and includes food, shelter, care, and vet bills. I'm guessing your mom will be doing this. It's not after the dog starts peeing on the carpet or when you realize your dog needs training you really find out how hard the responsibility is. Trust me.Hopefully you convince her but you're mom will have to be in it too for it to be a happy situation. And remember don't give up on your responsibilities with your dog after he gets boring to you because that usually tends to happen.
