how do you find out how old a pomeranian canine is?

my dog is 9 years old in human age and i'm trying to found out how old he is in his breeds age.

Usually if you take them to the vet they can give you an idea of the age. I think they can tell by their teeth.

well i dont know how to explain it but my dog is 1yr in human years but he is 7 yrs old on dog years

The vet normally can give an approximation by looking at the teeth
