What's the difference between hunter and button braids?
I was just curious to know what the difference between Hunter braids and Button braids are or if there is any difference. Thanks <img src="https://dogencyclopedia.net/FRAMeWORK/wcf/images/smilies/smile.png" alt=":)" />

A button braid is more dressage style.Hunterhttp://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/1938942/2/istockphoto_1938942_braided_horse_mane.jpgbuttonhttp://www.corbisimages.com/images/LL001725.jpg?size=67&uid=4651fe04-458f-4989-bfcb-c6373545a2db&uniqID=61bc5f2f-dfeb-4a34-bf00-7137d4faa251This is what I thought anyways.
Hunter braids lie flat to the neck. Button braids (dressage braids) stand up, off of the top of the crest. If you look at a hunter neck, braided down, the topline would be fairly smooth. A dressage horses' braided mane (button-braided) would have definite large bumps.
