you should probly hav a cliker or treats and when she/he has the object in its mouth hold up the treat or clik the cliker intil he/she comes with the object.
What breed is your dog? Some breeds are naturals- Labs, any Retreiver...I tried to teach a chihuahua to fetch- it didn't work very well.The first I threw a ball, my Ausie/Lab mix was on it, like Blue Bonnet!!! She LOVES to play fetch!
