Why does my cat sleep in the bathroom sink?

Every time I come home from work and I go to take a shower, my cat is sleeping in the sink. I take her to cuddle in bed, and in the morning, I find her in the sink. Why?

dunno, cats like to sleep in weird places, they usually have thier comfort zone and like to sleep there

my cat does the same thing. Its because the sink is nice and cool. I notice mine does it more in the summer when she gets hot.

It's cool, it's the right shape, she feels like she's being cuddled all at the same time.

Maybe cause the sink is more comfy?Depending on the style of the sink, the cat could fit better in the sink.For example, if the sink is bowl-shaped.Or it could just like the sink. >.>

haha, mine did that too. she finds it comforting and it contours to her body i guess. it was cute, but she got over it. she now loves sleeping in my laundry basket, my CLEAN laundry basket

sinks are cool, if she is having kidney problems this may be soothing her.. I suggest having her urine checked if you think this may be her problem? or add some water to her canned food, she may just find it cozy

My cat does this also. I believe it's because it is cooler inside the sink. He also puts his face up to lick the water faucet while in there. Even tho I have placed water in a dish out for him.

cats find the most oddest places comfortable. my cats find wierd places to sleep. if you don't like getting kitty fur in your sink then get him/her a basket to cuddle up in or a simple cardboard box. my cats love stuff like that.

Maybe it is the most comfortable place...or mybe he likes that water that is left in there!!

perhaps the cat wants to go to bed with the equivlant of a 'glass of water'?also a sink is slightly rounded and about a good size to accomodate one cat so could be comfortable there and relatively safe.Our cats like to go to sleep inside the tumble drier - i found out one day when i started it up one morning and heard terrific thumping - so i stopped and opened it to find my half persian cat looking rather worse for wear - no problems getting him out again! he did forgive me after a day or two! (yes he was ok because it was about 2 minutes he was in there!)also we get both of them squeeze into one sink as they prefer to sleep together

Definitely cooler. I don't find mine in the sink, but on hot days I find her in the tub.
