How long can a parakeet go without water?

I believe somebody I know has not given them water for a few weeks now. I have said something but they have not done anything. They said the kid keeps spilling it.

Not for very long if the parakeet had went without water for more than a day or two it would probably die.

Call the Humain Society and report the idiot. Anyone like that should NOT have pets. How stupid can someone be?

They NEED fresh water every day...please rescue that bird if it's still alive!

It may be true because they wont live but 2 to 3 days without water.
