A spray bottle and use it on the kitten. Every time you see her in or attempting to jump the plant. Sounds inhumane, but it works. Vets' recommend this.
Is there any way to discourage a kitten from chewing on houseplants?
We've moved the plants from the windowsill to hanging from the ceiling away from things she can climb and shortened the hangars. Now she jumps from the floor onto the plants! When they do something you don't like (such as eating plants, scratching furniture) spritz them with a water bottle. Wash out an old windex bottle or something and fill it with water and keep it handy so you can spray the cat.

Buy a squirt bottle and squirt the kitty when it starts chewing!!!

They have this product in the store that doesn't harm them to the taste, I can't remember the name but it excited

Don't spray the cat with water. Give the cat it's own garden made of catnip and I'm sure the cat will leave the plants alone. If not then pet stores have sprays to spray on the plants to protect them from your cat or dog. Good Luck

Sprinkle black pepper on the soil around the plant. Workes on dogs too.

There is a spray you can buy at the pet store that is especially for keeping pets away from objects.

I say spray a bitter substance on the leaves such as a lemony spray. When she jumps on the plants spray her with a water bottle. She will eventually stop. Thats what we do with our cats.
