How do you decrease the amount your dog barks?
We just got a puppy and it is starting to bark all the time. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions without spending hundreds of dollars to decrease the amount of barking.How do you decrease the amount your dog barks?

Please do not listen to the people who are suggesting shock collars, yelling and hitting your dog to stop barking. Not only are shock collars inhumane, but if another dog barks in the vicinity of your dog, he'll still be shocked. If you yell at your dog, more likely than not, he'll think you're joining in on the fun and bark more. There is a good article at the ASPCA website on barking. Please view the link. Good Luck!

get rid of it's barking box.

use a spray bottle spray your dog with it when it barks and it might be lonely or might miss it's siblings so play with it and spend lots of time with it
