    • Chocolate is actually OK for a dog. The only chocolate that isn't safe and WILL kill your dog is called Baker's Chocolate and it's not very common, but I don't suggest feeding your dog chocolate becuase from what I understand it can still lead to very serious problems.Hope this helps! :0)

    • stop feeding ure dog chocolate i know its hard to stop coz u love ure dog soo much bt its really bad for there digestion an d can cause problems with the liver etc but theres an alternative thers many treats at Woolworth's like chocolate for dogs that u can buy ure do some allso dogs may have diareha

    • its true tat dogs die wen fed wid chocolate.....but it depends on how often u feed him wid it.....stop feeding ur dog wid chocolate or death is certain for ur dog.....my neighbours died of the same way....

    • god stop feeding him chocolate. if you took just a little bit of poison, you wouldn't die either. my dog at a hershey kiss once--i freaked out. but they don't DIE from small dosages. read the source

    • nothing will happen to the dog well idk some dogs are different beacuse on christmas day i brought home a plate full of chocolate stacked and my dog jump on the counter and ate every single piece of chocolate and he didnt even get sick i have never seen a dog get sick from it but maybe somebody has.

    • Dogs can die if you give them chocolate too much chocolate. It can cause a lot of problems including seizures and death. There's a certain ingredient in the chocolate that a dog's body cannot digest. My sister works at a vets office and she says dogs come in there on the verge of death all the time after eating chocolate. Although you don't seem to be giving him a lot I would just stop giving it to him altogether. I mean if you know there's a risk why even do it. If you had a child and you knew they could potentially die from eating something even if it is just a little bit would you still do it? It's the same thing with a dog. Why risk it?

    • "Chocolate contains theobromine. A naturally occurring stimulant found in the cocoa bean, theobromine increases urination and affects the central nervous system as well as heart muscle. While amounts vary by type of chocolate, it's the theobromine that is poisonous to dogs.'Basically small amounts of chocolate won't kill them or have any shown side effects, but it teaches them that chocolate is okay for them to eat. Later on when Fluffy sees your bowl of halloween candy and goes to town, he'll get theobromine poisioning and die. Stop feeding him chocolate. Its like smoking, it doesnt harm you after one cig, but it does release harmful toxins into the body which can eventually cause harm.

    • chocolate is not good for a dog's digestion. in most cases it is only dark chocolate that causes serious harm, especially in small breeds and puppies. you should definently stop feeding your dog chocolate - even if you have been doing it for years with no problems. if your dog really likes the taste of chocolate, buy him some treats that contain carob - a chocolate like flavor that is safe and healthy for your canine pal

    • The theobromine in chocolate is filtered out by the liver. Dogs do not have the correct enzymes in their liver for this. Chocolate therefore kills a few liver cells every time you give it to him. When more than half his liver cells are dead, he will get very sick and die a slow and miserable death. You might want to stop doing that.
