I have no idea what resources are available in your neck of the woods, US here. Here you can contact animal shelters and rescues to get a huge discount on spaying.
I live in Blackwood near Caerphilly taking my b***h also a boarder collie to a local vet is gonna cost £150 for my female an £117 for my male. It varies from vets to vets though , best to ring up an enquire ... There are cheaper places about if your on a low income as well
