I have a 2 year old male American Bulldogthat is urinating blood. What could be causing this?

I took him to the vet, who gave him antibiotics. It cleared up but he is urinating blood again.

it could be a variety of different things, 1. it could be an UTI ( urinary tract infection ) from urinary stones2. Kidney or Canine Renal disease if your dog has other symptoms such as no appetite and vomiting3. the prostate could be infected4. he could of eaten something harmfulif you already went to the vet and it started back up again bring him back as soon as possible because it could be something serious, hope this helps.

You need to get him to the vet ER asap. It's cystitis (bladder infection) and it can be fatal within 24 hrs.He needs more antibiotics now.
