I haven't crossed borders into Canada in probably, oh... five years... but I had to prove that he had his vaccinations, and was legally licensed in my County. So I'd make sure you had his tags, and even back up paperwork from your vet.
You need license verification and you also need vaccination records from you vet they don't always ask for the paperwork but if you don't have it when they ask then you cant enter Canada.
