How do you help a kitten with a broken leg?

She is ten weeks old. SHe has been holding her leg up for two days and when I touch iot it hurts her. I can feel where it is broken so I know that is what is wrong. How can I help her to heal it? SHould I try to splint it, and how do I do that? I cannot afford to take her to t he vet.

i know you said you can't afford it, but she needs a vet. she could get an infection and die depending on how bad the break is. she needs a vet.

If you can't afford a vet, then don't try and do it yourself. See if your local SPCA can give you a cheaper cost

HAVE IT PUT TO SLEEP.

If you try to splint it yourself, you probably won't set it right, and it will heal crooked, and she will limp for life. I'm sorry to say that you need a vet to do it soon before the bone tries to heal itself as it is.

if you really love your pet, bring her to the vet. if not, you'd better end her life (don't ask me how) because every moment she lives is pain to her.

take her to the vet immediately. if you cannto afford ofr her care then you should not have pets, please take her to the vet and maybe you can work out a payment plan or they can take her off your hands for you since you cant take care of her.

My God you have take it to the vet. That leg needs to be set and in a cast for it to heal and to get it some pail relief

You must take that kitten to a vet! I'm sure they will arrange payments for you. You can't fix it. The cat will probably never walk, or worse get an infection. Go now!

You HAVE to take her to a vet. You can't let the little thing suffer. If you have pets, you have to do what's right for them.

The only way you can help her is to take her to a vet. If you leave it or try to splint it yourself, you run a high risk of having the bones grow in wrong, and then the kitten will be crippled for the rest of her life, not to mention be in excrutiating pain. If you cannot afford it, try to let your vet know the circumstances you're in, and see if you can make down-payments or something until you can afford it.

you may not have the money put take her to a vet most vets allow payment plans for those who cant afford these things. but until you do split it with 2 stick and and wrap a cloth around the sticks and leg and secure fastly. make sure that she is eating to make sure that she will heal faster. if you need anything else email me. ask your friends and family and try to splint it and take some wire and wheels and make it awheel chair for its leg

You've got to take it to the vet or humane society for some help. Could you imagine sitting around for two days with a broken leg...just think of the pain that kitty is in !!!!!
