bath him and comb his hair daily not weeklyI had a cat like that once and the vet said to comb him daily for about five to ten mins ,your cat will love you for too.
There is a brush that reaches to the undercoat of the cat. The undercoat is where most of the shedding comes from. If you brush the cat daily or even 2 or 3 times a week it should cut down on the shedding. Mine shed all year round because they are inside cats. Somehow their season for shedding is messed up by that.
Well combing the cat helps. SWIFTER has that new pet roller thing to get the hair off the furniture and carpet. Overall you need to like to clean - the cat and your house. I hate cat hair. For years I hated cats but just recently got attached to one so I too am battleing the cat hair! There is nothing like being all dressed up with blank slacks and seeing cat hair allover them! YUCK. P.S. I keep a lint roller in my car too!
no. if you do have a high amount of cat hairin your house, i'd sugest grooming your cats. buy a soft brissled brush, and a regular brissled cat brush. you might want to experiment until you find the right brush for you cat(s) because every cat is different. establish a time durring the day where you sit down with them and brush them. start with the soft brissled brush. as they are comfortable and have accepted that, this one part of the day is the part of the day where they get brushed, switch to the hard brissled brush, and spend about 20 minutes brushing, head neck back tummy if they let you, legs, and be gentle with the tail, as the bones are small, and arent designed to be smashed or pulled. if you have more than one cat, this will take alot of time out of your day, but it will work! the only way to really stop your cat hair problem is to catch it at the source.
