    • No human pain meds for a dog - ever!!Your vet should have already given her pain meds, giving her anything else could be deadly. Not to mention a lot of human meds are toxic to dogs.If your vet didn't send any pain meds home with you dog, go back to your vet and ask for them.

    • Yes, it probably would. Why is the dog home from the vet so early? Call the vet and tell them, most dogs are given pain medication after the operation. You really need to see your vet, it should be free of charge.

    • I would advise you not to self medicate your dog. Ingredients in people medicine can be toxic to dogs, be in the wrong dosage or the wrong potency or strength. All of these can be fatal to your dog. Instead consult with your vet about pain medication or other ways to make her as comfortable as possible. Make sure she has some place warm and soft to rest and recover.Hope she feels better soon!OliviaPet Nutrition SpecialistNutro
