    • my guy, Hero... at eight months was just over eighty pounds.. I did not have him neutered at that point... -- I wanted him to have muscle, and it is mostly "fat" gained.. take away testosterone.. take away muscle building compounds.... he got to 86lbs almost by the time I had him neutered.... nice big stocky guy..... his twin sister a dainty 68lbs... lol...from what I have read - 55-85lbs average weight malessite link page--http://www.bulldoginformation.com/olde-english-bulldogge-standard.htmlaverages being what they are... there is one gorgeous, sweet natured olde english bulldogge in our area his name is Zues and weighs in at 110lbs.. all muscle! lol... this is my favorite of all the sites I found about them --and so many other bullbog breeds/family members --the dogs' lolhttp://www.bulldoginformation.com/Olde-English-Bulldogge.htmlthank you for taking the time to read thishope I have been able to assist youhave a good daymuch luckI apologize first for missing the "when" will he be grownand then for not responding immediately; the age for olde english's -or any dog- is one bit of info that I, at least; know but still am never sure of? so I went to re-check... always been told majority of the growth for a dog (any) is two years but that until three/four there will be miniscule changes (ie might gain some height/length like quarter an inch to an inch might be an eighth of an inch.. genetics would be key and individual above standard)okayfirst place I found- has a different weight for male olde english; they set the average 65 to 145lbsbut nothing on how old do they grow until... link below in case there is info you find useful --olde english is the fourth dog down the page http://www.oldbulldogs.com/allaboutbulldogs/bulldogs.phpthis next site states first that growth is until puppy reaches one year but then says the following;quote:In respect of the larger dogs, such as the Mastiff, caution must be taken during growth periods in the first 18 months of the puppy's life. Excessive exercise such as jumping obstacles or over long walks can cause joint damage.as with many sites there is no info for olde english bulldoggesas I have run into this issue before; I had asked my vet who relayed to me that in a case where specific breed is not available look up bullmastiff - closest to this breed, I am told.site link;http://www.dog-names.org.uk/puppy-behavior-growth-development.htmFOUND IT: about two years quote:Different dogs take longer to grow than others. Generally, the size of the breed determines how long it takes for the puppy to be full grown. A toy puppy, for example, will be full grown at a year. A larger breed, such as a retriever, will be full grown at two years. It all depends on the size of the dog, but most dogs are fully grown by two years oldhttp://www.takingcareofapuppy.com/when-is-a-puppy-fully-grown.html
