    • Fence the plants? Or at least try watching the Dog Whisperer (Cesar Milan). Or try Cesars technique. Whenever he does something wrong, jerk your hand and go TSST!!! It worked for me.

    • KEEP THEM OUT OF HIS WAY! This may sound cruel but it is better than your dog being poisoned by a plant which happens quite frequently. Take 1/4 c hot pepper flakes, soak in 2 1/2 c water over night, then strain into a spray bottle. Spray the pot with it. If that doesn't do it, wipe the leaves with vinegar. I had a dog that didn't mind vinegar so I finally used the pepper spray. He tasted it once and never did it again.

    • Puppy pen the plants. Puppy pens are small fences that are too high for a dog to jump over but low enough for you to step over. There is also a gate that you can open to let the dog through if you want. Puppy pens are cheap and you can get them from almost any large pet store like pet barn, pet warehouse 2000 and more. It works.

    • Just in case any of the plants may be poisonous, I'd put some fencing up. It depends on the size of your dog of course, but hopefully some edging should do the job. Prevention has always been my way forward, rather than cure.ps Dogs should be able to nibble at grass which is a natural purgative and can be useful to clear up tummy upsets - provided the grass hasn't been sprayed of course.

    • A good way to keep your cat away from the plants is to use indoor grow tent. I bought one from http://www.quictents.co.uk for indoor growing. It is easy to use and my plants are growing well in it. The most important thing is: my dog can never eat my plants anymore.
