Im getting a new dog soon hopefully and need some help?

We are planning on getting this new dog its a rescue dog and weve all visited it and hes sososo cute!! Hes a one year old cavalier king charles spaniel. We know we need to get a crate but dont know what size, hes fully grown but is quite small for a cavvie. Does anybody have any advice and a list of things we would need and tips and things we may not have considered yet thanks

Here is a general list of things you will need:- Dog food. Go with a high quality food. Like Blue Buffalo Wilderness or Orijen.- Dog treats. We personally use Zuke's dog treats. Nylabone are good for non edible chews.- Dog bowls. One for water one for food. - Dog brush. For daily/weekly brushing.- Dog shampoo. Go with something natural. This is for a monthly bath, don't over bath. - Leash. I suggest a simply 4ft-5ft leash. Make sure your dog walks beside you, not in front. - Collar. To be worn 24/7.- Biodegradable dog poop bag. To pick poop up on daily walks. ----->http://earthrated.com/- Dog tags. One with your dogs name and your number. As well as a licensing tag that cities require.- Dog crate.
