Its not the pet hair ppl are allergic to its the dander so i don't think there is a "good" dog for ppl with dog/cat allergies . You should take some allergy medication . COME ON PPL ITS NOT THE HAIR PPL ARE ALLERGIC TO ITS THE DANDER !!!!
You'd better be careful! See if you can find a hairless breed. Go to visit it several times, sniff & snuggle it. It may not be just the hair you are allergic to! If you get one & have a severe allergic reaction it could be life threatening, not to mention heartbreaking to give up a pet you've come to love. Maybe you should get a dogfish!
Standard or miniature poodles. These dogs do not shed. Their coat is different from that of regular dogs. They do not shed and are very good for people with allergies.
Lhasa Apso not shed and they small. Not sure of the spelling. If you allergic it may not matter which dog you get. And if you can not handle it then you have to find it a good home. You may want to consider a different pet.
if you are allergic to dogs why the hell would you want to get a dog,be serious why would you want to suffer just for the sake of having an ankle bitter or yapper!
There is a common myth that dogs with hair (non-shedding but constantly growing) rather than fur are "hypo-allergenic". This is not true. All dogs produce dander which is most commonly the cause of allergic reactions. If you are considering a "low dander" dog make sure you ineract with them extensively first and see what type of reaction tou get. Here are some low dander breeds: Chinese Crested, Basenji, Bedlington Terrier, Bichon, Italian Geyhound, Irish Kerry Blue Terrier, Maltese, Poodle, Schnauzer, and Wheaten Terrier. Good Luck
Your best bet would be a chiwawa. They are loyal and easy to maintain, and they don't have longer hair like most breeds. Some chiwawas are even bred to be hairless!
