Is the science diet or royal canine okay to feed my pomeranians?

I want a good quality dog food, I tried blue buffalo and they didn't like it, I bought them a small bag of science diet and they loved it. The vet recommended royal canine.

Science diet is not a good quality food. Royal Canine is a better quality but I've never been overly impressed by it. I wouldn't go by what your vet recommends. Unfortunately they know next to nothing about dog nutrition and can actually get paid to recommend and sell a product. I'm not saying your vet is like this but its something to keep in mind. I would do your own research. Personally I feed Taste of the Wild. My dog has done fabulous on it. It's a high quality grain free dog food and I would certainly recommend it simply because my dog has done great on it (and because its such a good food). Other high quality foods include: Fromm, Evangers, Natural Balance, Canidae and Solid Gold. Science diet and Royal Canin are easily two of the worst dog foods that are out there. If your dogs didn't like Blue Buffalo, then you might want to try Wellness, or Taste of the Wild. Either are far more nutritious and healthy for your dogs.

If the vet recommended Royal Canine then that's a good idea... That is what I feed my pomeranian and he is perfectly healthy and he LOVES it! But he does it my bigger dogs food, which he also loves. It's just adult x-large royal canine food. For some reason likes that WAY better then his "Pomeranian Puppy Food" Royal Canine... Anyway, hope this helped! I love poms...
