Could my dog have torn her acl again?

My dog tore her acl about a month ago and had surgery to repair it. Everything was going fine but all the sudden she is limping on her other one too. She can hardly walk now could she have possibly torn her acl on her other leg too. Are there any other possibilities? She is a border collie and around 40 lbs. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
