1. no opposable thumb 2. no tp on little rolls for the puppys.3. sometimes they swallow hair or string and it kind of hangs there like a dingleberry kite..so they have to get it out and that's the easiest way for them.4. that must've been some nasty doo, if the dog wanted it buried deeply. Ta!PS: the one young lady is correct, it could be worms, but for male dogs there is a gland that can get clogged, the vet has to express the fluid from it to relieve the dog. might want to get him checked by the vet.
1. hes wiping his ass.#2. He has fleas or worms.#3. Hes havng fun digging. Maybe you should see a vet, my dog does this too and i think shes wipin her ass. Still your story was really funny lol XD
A lot of times dogs do that when their anal sac is full...sounds gross eh? But they have a gland just inside their bum that can fill with fluid, and it's really itchy. That scooting is classic. You can take him just to a groomer, like at a pet store, and they will fix it for you. It's really common, and it costs under 10 bucks. But they will tell you if that is it, or if you need to go to a vet (in case it's something else) Well, it did when I had a dog with that problem a long time ago.
All dogs do this as a way of expressing their anal glands. If he is doing this persistently, he could have worms or he might need a vet to express his anal glands. Good luck!
