    • So... you want to purposely add MORE mutts to the dog population when MILLIONS of dogs are already euthanized every year because shelters are overflowing with animals exactly like the ones you want to create? However many puppies your dog would have, that's how many more are going to be euthanized because of you. Can you really feel good about yourself if you do that?

    • Since genetics are random, there is no telling which traits from what dog the puppies will inherit. There is no way to know what they will look like or be like. Have you considered what would happen if there were complications with the labor? It could cost thousands for emergency vet bills, or you could lose your dog. It happens all the time.Have you considered that some of the puppies may end up in shelthers? sure, you are going to give them to friends and family, but the sad fact is these dogs still end up in shelters. Have you considered possible genetic health issues your dogs may have and pass to their puppies? That's why reputable breeders do health clearances on things like hips, elbows and eyes. There are many more things to consider. Please reconsider. There are many wonderful mixes in the shelters that die everyday. If you are serious about breeding, read this sitehttp://www.woodhavenlabs.com/breeding.html"Here's a good one, not for the squeamish, but neither is breeding"http://www.woodhavenlabs.com/breeding/breeder2.html

    • Please DO NOT breed your dog. She is old enough to be spayed. Please spay her ASAP. If you do not spay her before her first heat cycle you will dramatically increase her risk of getting cancer. There are already too many dogs being euthanized every day. You do not have the proper knowledge and training to be a breeder. You would be an irresponsible back yard breeder. Please spay your doggie for her own good. And encourage your neighbor to neuter their dog. Take a trip to a shelter and look at all the adorable puppies who are going to be killed. You will see a LOT of lab mixes.
