What are the benefits to hiring a dog walker for my pet and for me?
I am interested in hiring a dog walker from my community but I'm a little curious how it will really benefit my dog and I both. I could go out and walk my dog myself, why should I consider a dog walker?Thank you.

Dog walkers are for people who don't have the time, health or energy to walk their own dogs. If you are able you should do it yourself. After all, it benefits both you and your dog.
It would only benefit you by giving you free time.It would only benefit the dog by giving exercise. But to be honest, if you can do it yourself, dont waste the money and pay someone to do it for you, because your missing out on vital opportunities to bond with your animal.
Whoever walks the dog will bond with the dog. If you cannot devote enough time to fulfill your dogs’ needs, please give the dog away to somebody who can. It is that simple. Good luck with it.
I work full time. I have a dog walker come by every day at noon to take my dogs out, so it's not such a long day for them.I walk the dogs myself each morning and night for about a mile (they're little dogs).I can't imagine why you'd want to have a dog walker come if you're available to walk your dogs yourself.
The only way it really benefits you is if you don't have the health (as in broken foot, not being lazy) or you're going somewhere and you need someone to dog sit. Otherwise it's a waste of money and your dog is bonding with someone else
