    • you have to introduce them slowly and one by one. you can't show him the whole family all at once or he'll feel threatened. Just show him one dog or cat at a time, and only for a max of 10mins. keep them seperated as much as you can for a few days and let the dog get used to each of them. it was the same with us, we got a year old boxer and had a 5 month old kitten and the kitten hated the dog. we kept them seperated and closely monitored encounters and now they sleep together!just give them time and space and i'm sure they'll get along fine :)

    • Dogs (all pets) have to choose their own friends. You may get them to tolerate each other, but you can't make them like each other if they don't. But YOU can train them all to see you as a leader, & this is very important---otherwise, fights will break out. If you don't have time to train one dog---you certainly don't have time for multiples. Real life isn't like TV. You really have to do 'behind the scenes' work to create the illusion of harmony.

    • i agree with bitty jade or her name Answerer #1 :) there we gobut like use toys and stuff so they can both play give them like 2 bones so he knows hes as loved as the other dog... you obviously cant give a cat a bone unless... its a weird scary cat, so give the cat a toy and the dog a toy in which it can play with by itself for example the cat(s) can have a toy mouse and the dog can have a ball... just so the dog knows its as popular and loved as the other pets
