What kind of work is done as a veterinarian?

I'm doing a school project on vets so I realy need to know.

well when i get older i wanna be a vet. of course vets heal animals. they give them medications. they treat any animal that comes in. vets also do surgury on animals. vet techs as i call them. they go through heart braking cases such as a newborn puppy that was abused or about to die. but they have to suck it up and do what they do best. hope i helped!

Vets look after the well being of animals. Vets do everything from dosing an illness to prescribing medications to spaying and neutering dogs and cats.

Vets help, cure sick animals. Give needles for the animal to stay healthy, give medication, and does surgery. Also their job is to love animals, so thats why they're vets, to help and to keep them safe from rabies, diseases etc.
