Depends on the dog. My young dog seems to remember everyone she has interacted with. Even when she met someone when she was 4-5 months old and didn't see them again for several months. Other dogs, don't seem to remember even after meeting them several times.

Some dogs will know a person once they smell them.....others could take a few times before they know you. Each dog is different.

I think twice! Make sure u pet the dog and let it smell u to know u. If I don't let it smell u, it doesn't know u.

Depends on the dog. If you take it on walks/help with training/etc then it will be more likely to recognize you and like you faster.If it's just seeing you-it depends on the dog. Some dogs will recognize/take a liking to someone within a few meetings, some take longer then that.
