It can help, but it's not enough to solve the problem. You have a very intelligent, high energy breed. You need to spend more time on training and exercise if you want to keep him under control.
possibly yes. It will remove some testosterone thus calming him down a little. But it might not fix the problem of being hyper or wanting exersice. Malamutes are high energy dogs because they were bred to pull sleds in snow. I'm glad your getting your dog fixed but it might not solve that problem.
If losing his testicles and the testosterone calms him down, it will probably be negligible. Neutering to calm a dog down is a myth perpetuated by HSUS and many veterinarians who would rather see you not breed your dog.Malamutes are energetic. I'm sure you knew this when you did your research on the breed.
