Are Australian Kelpies mixed or pure breeds?

i'm just really curious cuz i have a australian kelpie and i wanna know if i could ever put her in a dog championship cuz u can only put pure breeds in a championship..right?

If your dog has papers you can enter it in conformation show but if you want to do agility or obedience they dont need papers

Kelpies are registered purebreds in the Canadian Kennel Club and the FCI I believe. She can be shown in conformation shows under either of these clubs if she has their registration papers. If not, then she cannot, though she can still do other sports, agility, flyball, etc.
