My dog has non-moving black dots in between her hairs that fall out when brushed?
It's kind of like having black dandruff except the dots are slightly larger. I tested to see if these things moved and none of the ones I took out ever did. What could these possibly be?

sounds like flea dirt to me. It's basically flea poo.Put the black dots on white paper and add a drop of water. If the water ring around them turns red, it's flea dirt.If it's flea dirt, your dog has or had fleas. Bomb your house and use flea preventative on your dog.
