Good Family Dogs/Watch Dogs?

name all you can think of. and watch not guard dogs.

I have a cockerspaniel mixed with a springer spaniel and she is an amzing watch dog

I had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and he was an excellent family dog. They are small-medium in size, great with people, and always seemed to be a good watch dog, not to mention a great dog in general. I highly recommend the breed.

i have met a chocolate lab that thinks it a rottie , any hound will be a good watchdog , as they bark at anything unusal any dog that herds , collie , gsd , dutch shepherd ect

Um. I only know of the chihuahua. They bark REALLY loud when someone just passes your house, or the mailman delivering the mail, or a friend/relative coming over. I don't know if they're counted as guard dogs though. Anyways, hope I helped!
