what do you think is best food for dogue de bordeaux puppy?

we have a 8mth old puppy but cant decide on the best diet for it. Expensive dry food seems a rip off because of the meat content so is a cheaper option with real chicken mince mixed in better or will it just upset the balance?

I feed all my rotties on raw, however you cannot just give minced chicken, and you must NEVER feed raw chicken with kibble. This will put a great strain on her internal organs. You either stick to a good quality kibble, and as you are UK then you are limited, but I recommend Arden Grange from UK. We keep all our rescues on it and they do well. Or ---- you research the whole RAW DIET situation and go that way. Just don't mix the two. Have a read of Tom Lonsdales Raw Meaty Bones site if you want to think about a raw diet, but it has to be a whole lot more than just raw chicken.

Real chicken, turkey, beef, bison, venison, fish. Fresh vegetables. Yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese.

Escargot, frog's legs, Danone yogurt, brie cheese, evienne water, french fries, -------- the list is endless

Blue Buffalo or Wellness.

we feed ours prey model raw. do some research and ask other breeders and owners. that's what many of us feed.
