Where is the Shitzu placement on the dumbest dog scale?

The shitzu is no.80 on the top 100 smartest dogs100 being the dumbest -Afghan Hound (dumbest) 1 being the smartest - Border Collie (smartest)& it really depends on the individual dog itself

It's Shih Tzu.There is no one scale.They're relatively intelligent dogs, pick things up easily.

There's no 'dumbest dog' scale. Shih Tzus rank #70 on the list judging intelligence related to working and obedience in the study I just checked. However, 'Doodle owners' ranked much higher on the dumbest dog owner scaleLOL. Don't act like you only take the moral high ground princess. Dumbest dog scale?I think that falls on the owner not the dog all dogs have an opportunity to be "smart" spend time training them at a young age. Repetitious training they can take 10 reps to learn some thing but they can preform the command perfect and on command. I own 3 shih tzus and they are not dumb I started training at 8 weeks old with my 2 puppies. We practice agility, and basic training. and soon trick training. So its the time and patience devoted to the dog.
