How much does it cost to adopt a puppy at petland?

I really want a puppy for my birthday. I saqw one i realy like at petland the other day. i realize it might not be there on my birthday but i still want one. i was wondering if you know what it might cost me?thanks for your time

You don't "adopt" puppies from Petland. You buy disgustingly poorly bred, sick puppies for an exorbitant amount of money when they come from disgusting puppy mills. I won't even go in a Petland store except to make a scene about their sick animals and deplorable confinement conditions. My sister got thrown out of one a few years ago hahaha.

Pet land puppies can cost $200 to like 3,000 bucks! And 99% of the puppies there come from puppy mills and the puppies get REALLY sick and die most of the time. Look up puppy mills online and you will never even want to look at pet land.

I know this is not what you asked about, but I would strongly advise against getting a dog from a pet store. These dogs are puppy mill dogs, meaning they are bred in poor conditions, taken away from their mothers too soon and usually have health and personality problems. I would suggest you find a puppy through a reputable breeder. They cost less through a breeder too. Also, you should consider saving a life and getting a dog through an animal shelter.

A friend of mine bought an AKC Chocolate Lab from Petland for $550.

It would be better to get a dog from a breeder, the dogs that are at pet stores are from puppy mills and are usually sick. We need to stop the puppy mills from going on, so in order to do that NEVER buy any dog from a pet store. Always get a breeder, or in my personal choice, go on PetFinder.com and rescue a pet

Maybe a little at the start, but once you bring the dog home you may be paying at least 30 grand (that's what I heard from someone who bought a dog from there) in vet bills in the first week because of Parvo, pheumonia, etc. You would be much better off adopting from your local shelter or even getting a dog from a reputable breeder.

DO NOT ADOPT FROM PETLAND!Those dogs are poorly breed and most have life threatening diseases. Ya sure they're absolutely adorable and they look great, but it's deceiving. There was this show on Animal Planet about how normal people got dogs from PETLAND and the dog/pup had an illness that could not be cured, and the dog/pup died within the next few weeks. There was proof that the employees at Petland lied to the customers about the actual condition of the dog. Most of the dogs/pups come from horrible puppy mills and are neglected, not cared for properly, live in their own feces, spend their lives in tiny, disgusting cages with 5 other pups. It's not healthy. If you are really that stubborn and don't want to listen to what I have to say and you still really want to get a dog from Petland, you better get all of the proof you can get (i mean past documents, the dogs parents, they're information. EVERYTHING YOU CAN GET. And i still wouldn't trust that those documents are true). If you understand what I am trying to tell you, you will go to a shelter and adopt a dog that needs a new home. ADOPT!

I'm not sure but let me tell you is WILL cost over 200 dollars it really depends on the dog you want but on top of buying it it will need food water/food bowls or a 2 section dish toys (especially for a puppy that's teething) and the food that i buy (americas natural premium) costs about $14-$16 (i buy it from a local pet store so if you buy it from walmart or some place it could be less but it depends on the brand) and also dot keep switching the dog food if you have to switch it the do it slowly! good luck on getting the dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLZ PLZ PLZ PLLLZZZZZ dont buy from petland. The dogs come from puppy mills, and they may look all happy at the store but like 5 days later they have either distemper, upper respitory infection, parvo, or need to be put down. I watched this thing on animal planet Petland: Exposed. The people who sold the puppies to petland don't look at the dogs as pets but as money. Sure you go ask the people at petland if they buy from puppymills they will say know because they dont want theyre costomers thinking they are the bad guy. they will say we got this dog from a really nice lady. That really nice lady is a puppy mill owner. Plus they are ower priced and they prices range from $500-$5000! On top of that is their vet bill because they WILL be sick and thats another $600! So get one from a shelter and save a life or get one from a good breeder. PLZ PLZ PLZ dont buy from Petland, from the good of all the animals in there if you dont buy from there they cant make money and will go out of buisness and then the puppy mill people will go out of buisness. You could be buying that SICK puppy at a price of $200-2000, but that's just to BUY the puppy.Expect 1000's of dollars in Vet Bills.All those puppies are SICK, POORLY BRED, OVER-PRICED, & COME FROM PUPPY MILLS.Don't Buy It.You'll be Supporting Puppy Mills.Petland just wants your Money, they don't care about the dogs.Adopt A Dog instead, you'll be Saving so many lives & you won't be supporting Puppymills!!
