can you get a miniture airedale terrier?

My family and I are looking for a dog. We all love airedales, but our house is too small for a full sized airedale. Is there such a breed as a miniture airedale, if there is please could you inclose a site of where you can find some information. Thank…

    • No such breed. However look into smaller terrier breeds and I think you will find one that does resemble an airedale in shape and color.Remember any terrier needs a lot of room and excercise. They are a busy breed of dog.

    • Airedale Terriers come in one size only. But there are many terriers out there that have Airedale-like personalities. Welsh Terriers look a lot like Airedale, only smaller. There are also Lakeland Terriers, Fox Terriers, etc.

    • How about a Welsh Terrier? You should look those up and see if you like them.http://clubs.akc.org/wtca/http://www.petplanet.co.uk/petplanet/images/breeds/welshterrier.jpghttp://www.akc.org/breeds/welsh_terrier/index.cfm

    • http://www.akc.org/breeds/welsh_terrier/This is not a miniature Airedale Terrier, but a smaller breed that looks a lot like the Airedale. No, there is not such thing as a miniature Airedale. And, if you find someone selling some, you are going to be in a lot of trouble with health issues, perhaps temperament issues. I would suggest the welsh terrier. Instead of attempting to buy something that does not exist.

    • NO!F'rkrissake....READ THE BREED STANDARD!!!! ANY dog, properly trained, can't adapt to *any* housing size. There *are* a couple of breeds that ,to the ignorant, may resemble the breed....LAKELAND & WELSH.Neither of which are common & BOTH of which are "pricey"& who's breeders are VERY careful where they're sold
