    • If you are thinking about an Airedale, consider whether you are willing to live with his propensity toward potentially undesirable behaviors--and whether you want to take on the challenges that go along with his independent nature. If you decide you are, you will be delighted with the Airedale's active, fun-loving, even comical attitude.more about airedale?http://dogtime.com/airedale-terrier.html

    • Krizette D hasn't had an Airedale before it sounds like! Yes, they've very comical dogs. But I don't find them independent. And bad behaviors only show up with a badly trained dog (but this goes for all dogs).I'e grown up with airedales and I just love the breed. But they need experienced owners. They just love people and are big, cuddly bears. They can be a bit aloof with strangers, but quickly warm up. These dogs need training and exercise! Daily! These dogs can get bored easily and when they get bored, they tear the house apart! They've also very clever dogs and you'll find they can outsmart you sometimes.Again, if the dog has good training, this is one of the best dogs out there (in my opinion). My girl gets a lot of compliments but it takes serious training and exercise for me to get her to behave.

    • i would have to agree with krizette D.. Airedales can be very independent and stubborn to obedience training, this doesn't mean there not affectionate or clever dogs, my friend has one and they really are delightful dogs, very comical and full of energy, highly loyal with good guard instincts, but they do like to do their own thing, potter in the garden and play with their chew toys and investigate.. however it all depends on how you train them.. but all in all they are great dogs!!http://www.planetairedale.com/
