My neighbors dog came over and started attacking my light display and got electrocuted what should i do?

My neighbor is my best friend and i asked her if she could pay for my lights that i worked really hard on because her dog chewed through the wires and it was a really extravagant display. She wants to sue me because her dog got electrocuted... What do i do now?

Take it to Judge Judy and see what she says.

she is responsible for her dog and its actions. she should have had it on a leash or in a fence so it couldn't get to the cords. you are right to ask for your money back. if she tries to sue her case would probably be thrown out of court... unless she tried to take you to a court TV show.

find out what exactly are the laws in your area concerning leashing dogs. If you have a leash law where you are, then your friend has no case because the dog shouldn't have been untethered in the first place.

defend yourself! the dog got electrocuted by itself, you didn't do anything to lure it or make it chew on your light display.stupid dog.

She can't sue you because her dog was on your property, she didn't have him contained.

I can't see how it could be your fault! Its your neighbor's fault for not watching her dog and not keeping it in their yard.She don't even have a case because its her fault.

you testify that that dog came into YOUR yard and attacked your lights because of its on stupidity. she cannot sue you if she cannot keep her retarted dog in. sue her for that dog on YOUR PROPERTY.

Boy some friend, for one thing tell the sue happy friend she should be a little more responsible and keep her pet on a leash or tied up when she lets him outside, he was on your property running loose and ruined your property!
