im pretty sure he will just puke it up. well it was turkey grease? it should be fine, we feed our dogs grease from a fresh cooked ham. (not straight grease, we mix it in dry food) but if it was really old? thats a different story
Nothing to worry about maggots only feed on dead rotting flesh.. in hospitals if u have a serious infection they uses maggots to eat the infection. They don't touch living flesh. Also your dogs stomach acid will kill them. The grease probably upsest his stomach just keep an eye on him
your dog just got a meal that is arguably better than the kibble you feed him/herthe fat could cause the runs but over all you have nothing to be worried about.
