What is this hard red bump on my dogs ear?

My dog has a lump that looks like a big pimple on the inside of her ear flap. It now the size of a pea, red, and hard to the touch. Just the lump is red, with the rest of the ear normal. The growth doesnt seem to cause her pain; i can still rub his ear from the outside

Take him to the vet.

could be a number of things, cyst, hematoma. Vet required to get the answer and fix the problem

Just like humans, when a dog develops something that doesn't appear normal, it is better to get it checked out. Don't take chances with your pets health.

take her to the vet and check for ear mites. it could possibly be flea bites as well. you're using preventatives, yeah?sometimes my dog gets very small bumps on his inner ear, but his ears are clean and all.actually, you may not have to take her to the vet, i'm sure you could call and describe it, save yourself a trip. if they feel it's something important, they'll suggest you bring her in.

My dog had the exact same problem, and I was told it was a histiocytoma...but you should take your dog to the vet to make sure! Nobody will be able to diagnose your dog over the internet!
