How big will my new puppy get?

I just got a new puppy, and he is a mix. His mother is an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix and his father is a Beagle/Terrier mix. What would be an approximate weight range to expect?

Its always difficult to predict with mix breeds, but if you've seen the parents, just imagine an average of those. You'll probably get a mix sized dog, but you never know.

There is no way to know. Beagles are small, Australian Shepherds medium, and Labs are large. "Terrier" can mean anything from dogs like the Yorkshire Terrier to larger breeds like the Airedale. Your dog could end up pretty much any size smaller than a labrador.

Try looking at how big her/his parents are, and look at the puppies paws!

with such a mix weght range could be from 5 pounds to at least 100 pounds
