How can I stop my from chewing on rocks and digging my up my carpet?

I have an 8 month old Min Pin named Koda. I also have a 3year old Maltipoo as well. I love both my dogs very much but Koda has been driving me up the wall! He continuously keeps bringing in rocks, leaves, twigs inside my house to chew on. He also has been digging in random spots on our carpet. He has tons of toys and has another dog to play with, why is he doing this? Please help!

Like many undesirable canine behaviors, destructive habits usually develop because a dog is bored, lonely, or both. It's not fair or realistic to expect your dog--especially a working breed --to spend long hours quietly sitting and waiting for your return. By nature dogs are curious and sentient beings; see that she has enough mental and physical stimulation to minimize the impulse to dig and chew.

he is bored!Regular walks everyday are a must, mental stimulation like training, sit stay etc regularly.try getting a nylabone my dog loves these to chew on and a bully stick but keep an eye on them when chewing.
