There are certain shots that you should get for dogs of any age. She should get rabies, distemper and parvo, at a minimum. Check with your vet and see what he or she recommends. Enjoy your new dog!
There is such a thing as too early, but its never too late unless the dog has a very compromised immune system. The vaccines are still effective and very necessarily, and the vet wont penalize you or anything if you haven't had it done already.
