what pet should i get for 8year old twins?

dogs hands down are the best pet for children. If you get anything out of my answer its PLEASE dont get them a small pet like a rabbit or rat or even gerbil or hamster. these animals are fragile and arent very interactive (except for rats, but these animals again are very fragile).two dogs could be too much to handle but theyre energetic enough to keep them busy. plus, theyre cute and friendly so even if your boys cant handle the everyday responsibilty of feeding or watering, it wont be a hassle for you to take care of.

get the kind of pet that you are willing to take care of because they sure won't do it. I would start with a hermit crab or fish.

rats or mice because i just got some and they are really cool i have 2 because they need to be in pairs so you can have one for each twin my 8 yr old son loves them and plays with them everyday.

a pair of rats. males tend to cuddle more than females do.
