Why do dogs drink out of the toilet ?

My dog keeps drinking out of the toilet.My dad wants to know why he is doing this.Thanks.

Because they don't understand the concept of a toilet, to them it's just a water fountain.

cause they are thristy, sense relatively clean water, and doesnt have the intelligence to tell that people poop in it.

Because toilet water is nice and cool and fresh most of the time. Close the lid and make sure your dog has fresh cool water in the water dish all the time.

because it is a fresh water source the water is renewed every time you flush it's always cold tooAs long as the potty is clean there is nothing to worry about, just keep the lid down and change their water bowl more often Dogs have bacteria in their mouth which will counteract the bacteria in the potty unless well just keep the lid down

If they don't feel like going to their water bowl, or just don't feel like bending over to drink, its always easier to walk to the nearest bathroom and knock themselves out xD

its cold, and pretty convenient...my dog did this only once when we couldnt give her any water because she was sick or something....
