dog are not peeing as we know it but are putting there scent item for example lamp posts and where other dogs have peed. this is also a way for your dog to say this is mine do not touch

It depends on how many trees..bushes..lamp posts..stop signs..fire hydrants and mailboxes they pass.

it really just depends! I have had some that could pee a drop or two every 10 seconds or so it seemed!Seems they pee on every blade of grass at times, doesn't it?

If the number of times they pee indicates the size of thier bladder, my shih tzu has a bladder the size of an ocean. If it sticks out of the ground, he will pee on it and manage to find a drop in there somewhere.

When they are out for a walk they like to leave p-mail every where they go. Therefore tha only dribble or squirt here and there. They do not empty their bladder because they want to leave all the p-mails they can.

Mine mark their territory the entire walk. When I put them back in the yard, they go and relieve themselves.So, they have enough reserves built up to mark a LOT of territory.I have never had one run out of marking ammo.
