When my dachshund is sitting or laying a certain way a 2 marble size bulges pop out of his abdomen.?

Could that be his prostate and is that normal?They are between his penis and his rear, 1 on each side and close together.

jIt's hard to say without a photo, but you could be correct. It also, depending where it is on the abdomen, his navel (outie).

could be an umbilical hernia, my pup had it and when she was spayed we got it fixed. It usually isn't an issue but if it ruptures it can be fatal.

Sounds like your dog has hernias. It could be a hernia - I'd get it checked out by the vet because they can cause problems if they rupture, causing bleeding.
